Our Maiden Voyage (Batch No.1) whisky is made from 10 single casks of carefully hand selected Single Malts: some heavily-peated, some lightly peated. Some light and fruity, others rich and dark‚These mature casks were vatted by experts of their craft and filled into European oak - the finest fresh ‚ first-fill, Dry Oloroso sherry casks to rest and marry for a further 9 months Colour: Deep tawny brown Nose: Rich fruitcake, polished oak and some distant burning embers Taste: Sweet at first, then some sea saltiness enveloped by the big warming hug of peat smoke Finish: Classically maritime: salty, roasted meats lead to a satisfying big sweet-spice medium length finish.
