North Point - Pilot Rum (70cl, 40%)

A young pot still rum made on the north coast of Scotland. Distilled from molasses imported from the Caribbean, this rum has been aged between six to eight months in refill Highland Scotch whisky barrels. Pilot Rum is named after the brave Pilots who manned the north coast ready to assist any ships in trouble or guiding them into shore, this rum is clearly well suited to its casks and displays a pleasing sweet fruitiness which is sure to develop with older editions.

North Point are committed to sustainability with all parts of their production using green energy, they also bottle with recycled glass, source ethical ingredients and they'll soon be disposing of their waste at a new biomass plant next door to the distillery.
