Bunnahabhain Toiteach (70CL, 46.3%)

Crafted with Bunnahabhain Mine, the distillery's peated spirit, this single malt is a sequel to the original Toiteach and uses a higher proportion of sherry casks in the final blend than its predecessor. Pronounced Toch-ach ah-gha, its name translates to Smoky Two in Gaelic. The nose is peaty with rich oak and hints of sherry. The palate opens with a warming peat and sweet Oloroso sherry notes, with delicate pepper emerging for balance. The finish is spicy with some sherry aspects and lingering peat.
